Oct. 04--The Gillingham Charter School Board of Trustees approved multiple contracts during a special meeting Thursday night.
The contracts were with Simon Kramer Institute for use of the building, PC Sentry Computer Consulting for information technology services, Geisinger Quality Options for employee medical coverage, Schuylkill Valley Sports for sportswear with the school logo on it, Copycat Business Systems for printing services, Rediker Software for school administrative software and a transportation agreement between the charter school and Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29.
The trustee didn't reveal any costs associated with the contracts.
In other business, the board tabled a motion for changes to the employee handbook.
Board Treasurer Lori Quinn said that changes discussed at the September board meeting were not made and the handbook still doesn't fully align with Gillingham's charter.
The board also approved the board's ethics agreement.
