New Health Information Network Goes Live in Georgia

Health Analytics and the Georgia Department of Community Health
announced today the launch of a statewide health information exchange
(HIE) network, known as the Georgia Health Information Network (GaHIN).
The GaHIN utilizes Truven Health to provide clinicians throughout the
state with a longitudinal patient history at the point of care by
securely capturing real-time clinical and administrative data from
electronic medical records, healthcare claims, Georgia Medicaid, Public
Health Georgia Registry for Immunization Services (GRITS) and many other
