DHX Media Selects Cupcake Digital to Develop Yo Gabba Gabba! App Series for Preschoolers

First App in New Series to Launch this Winter

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cupcake Digital, Inc. has been selected by DHX Media, a leading independent creator, producer and licensor of children's entertainment, to develop a brand new series of children's applications featuring the wildly popular characters from the very awesome world of Yo Gabba Gabba!. Cupcake Digital will create deluxe activity apps designed for children ages 5 and under, inspired by the high-energy, family-friendly fun inherent in the series that airs on Nick Jr. and in the Yo Gabba Gabba! LIVE! stage show.

The first Cupcake Digital Yo Gabba Gabba! app is scheduled for launch in Winter 2013, as part of DHX Media's comprehensive Yo Gabba Gabba! marketing and licensing strategy for winter 2013-2014, which kicks off with the first-ever live holiday tour (www.yogabbagabbalive.com) and "A Very Awesome Yo Gabba Gabba! Christmas" DVD, featuring two original episodes, "A Very Awesome Christmas Special" and "Christmas." The first Yo Gabba Gabba! Cupcake Digital app, scheduled to release this winter season, is inspired by the contagious tune "There's a Party in My Tummy." The app will feature DJ Lance Rock and everyone's favorite colorful characters, Brobee, Foofa, Muno, Plex and Toodee. The activities within the app offer a variety of creative and imaginative ways for kids to learn about healthy foods and encourage kids to try them. The app will be available day-and-date on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and the Barnes & Noble for NOOK store.
