Oracle has announced plans to showcase its empowerment programme for the modern enterprise at its Oracle Day Events in Abuja, where it will demonstrate the power of hardware and software, engineered to work together.
The Oracle Day 2013, which will hold Abuja on November 5, offer stories of innovation across multiple industries, geographies and disciplines, with the discussion focused on real-world business results. Delegates will learn how business can leverage disruptive technologies such as cloud, mobile, social, analytics and big data, and the Internet of Things - a world of sensors that share data with each other and data centres to reveal previously unknown secrets.
Keynote presentations will engage and inform with videos, vignettes, and use cases, illustrating how Oracle customers are putting innovation into practice.
Following on from the much-anticipated Oracle OpenWorld 2013 event in San Francisco, Oracle is running a global series of high-profile events as a wide-ranging showcase for the innovations to be unveiled in California, US.
The Oracle Day events, under the headline, "Converge. Connect. Empower the Modern Enterprise", will be run in over 30 cities across Europe, Middle East and Africa, as part of a global event series.
Each event will be a powerhouse combination of business- and technology-focused tracks, all dedicated to one goal, showing Oracle customers and prospects how the power of simplicity can change IT to a force that drives business innovation, and empowering modern business, Big data at work, Cloud computing, and mobilising business, which is the modern data centre.
