Facebook Recruiting in India Study -->
MyParichay launched a report on Facebook Recruiting in India.
According to a release, the study was conducted in association with the Center for Talent Research.
The Facebook Recruiting Trend report Q2 2013 on Facebook recruiting practices in India indicates that more people find jobs via Facebook than any other social networking platforms. Furthermore, six out of every ten white collar professionals currently use only Facebook to find employment. Global recruiting trends also indicate that companies are investing more on internal hiring to curb attrition and preserve talent.
Ranjan Sinha, Co-founder and Chairman of MyParichay, said, "We are seeing a strong adoption of Facebook Hiring technologies. Our clients are seeing a 100 percent increase in number of quality talent especially those that hire candidates in the 21-30 years age segment. Facebook is seeing the success and recently announced it will add a fully discoverable 'professional skills' option to its user profiles."
In India, the number of top employers in the country using Facebook for recruitment has doubled in the past 12 months. Several industries including BFSI, business services, engineering, manufacturing as well as travel and tourism have used Facebook to find talent. However, the information technology and services industries have been the primary recruiters from the Facebook platform.
With a 15-25 percent increase in the hire of quality candidates from Facebook, the brand presence of companies on Facebook is also subsequently growing at the rate of 66 percent YoY. In addition, the report indicates that employer branding has doubled over the past year. Statistics show lasting trends which suggest that Facebook is the best platform for HR practices such as boosting referral programs and effective sourcing of passive talent.
