Business phone services provider, One Stop Voice, announced it has completed a new hosted Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) installation for Deer Creek Animal Hospital, a Phoenix-based full-service veterinary clinic. Replacing the company’s existing communications vendor, One Stop Voice supplied new phone service, equipment and functionality.
Located in North Phoenix, Deer Creek Animal Hospital offers complete veterinary care, including wellness, surgery, dentistry, ear care, internal medicine, boarding, daycare, training, grooming and more. Its over 10,000 square-foot facility offers all of the diagnostic and treatment services of a full service veterinary hospital. In addition, the hospital’s two+ - acre site provides ample room for additional services and community events.
Deer Creek Animal Hospital was already using a VoIP-based system that provided the features and functions necessary for internal operations. However, the accompanying service did not live up to the hospital’s expectations.
For example, Deer Creek often experienced dropped calls, echoes, static and other various quality issues that the service provider was never able to resolve. In addition, the service provider charged a high hourly rate for each of the many required service calls.
“We were frustrated with the customer service and quality issues we were experiencing with our initial provider,” said Angela Cipriano, Practice Manager. “Our team members just couldn’t afford to waste time with the inefficiencies in the service delivery, nor could we allow our phone system quality to negatively impact our critical operations.
“We’re happy with our decision to install a new One Stop Voice solution,” continued Angela. “Everything about the installation, system performance and customer service has exceeded our expectations.”
“Deer Creek had a new VoIP system up and running nine days after finalizing our agreement,” said Joshua Simon, One Stop Voice executive. “To avoid down time, we installed the system after business hours and completed it almost two hours ahead of schedule.
“After the successful transition, One Stop Voice provided detailed instructions on system usage along with as much phone support as Deer Creek needed,” continued Simon. “And all of the poor quality and service issues have disappeared with the new VoIP solution.”
The installation included Yealink T22 and T28 phones, as well as Analog Telephone Adapters (ATA) with wireless handsets. Deer Creek Animal Hospital also upgraded the VoIP system to include Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability. PoE allows the local area network infrastructure to provide power over an Ethernet cable to an endpoint device, such as an IP phone. By eliminating power adapters, desks and work areas presented a cleaner and less cluttered look.
