The SAM solution will complement Intermountain Healthcare's existing systems and help keep the organization on the leading edge of patient privacy.
Comprising 22 hospitals and 185 clinics that serve patients throughout Utah and southeastern Idaho, Intermountain Healthcare is one of the largest healthcare providers in the Intermountain West. By proactively monitoring access to sensitive data in near real time, SAM has the ability to detect and provide alerts on privacy breaches, identity theft, snooping, selling of patient information, or other unauthorized activity that may occur within a healthcare enterprise. The SAM solution also has the throughput capabilities necessary to handle considerable quantities of data that organizations like Intermountain Healthcare need to analyze. SAM is also 2014 ONC HIT certified as an EHR Module for Hospitals and Eligible Providers.
