(R, 108 min.) Robert Rodriguez directs this action-packed thriller following the adventures of secret agent Machete Cortez, played by Danny Trejo. Machete is recruited to stop a global terrorist, played by Mel Gibson, who is threatening to start a nuclear war. With Carlos Estevez and Amber Heard.

'Las Muertes Chiquitas'
This five-hour film will be shown in two parts Thursday evening and includes a talk by director Mireia Sallares. The documentary includes interviews with nearly 30 Mexican women who discuss their sexual experience. The film also explores the sexual violence against women in Mexico. Sallares' lecture is at 3 p.m. with the documentary at 6:30 p.m. and the second part at 9:30 p.m. The documentary will also be screened Sunday. The cinema is located at 1213 E. 'Despicable Me 2'
The animated comedy "Despicable Me 2" will be shown by the Union Board. The movie shows at 8 and 11 p.m. today through Saturday at the Whittenberger Auditorium in the Indiana Memorial Union, 900 E. Stephen King's classic scary tale, "The Shining," will be screened at 7 p.m. tonight at the Tivoli Theater as part of its Throwback Thursday series.
