STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN -- (Marketwire) -- 01/07/13 -- Ericsson will tomorrow launch a globalmusic crowdsourcing project Avicii x You' - in collaboration with UniversalMusic and At Night Management.
In the Avicii x You' project, Ericsson is teaming up with superstarproducer andDJ, Avicii, in line with its vision of the Networked Society. The projectwillfeature the release of the world's first and largest chart-topping single -incollaboration with fans and producers from all around the globe.
We will be telling you more about this on Tuesday, January 8, at 15:00localtime at our booth # 13638 at Central Hall at 2013 International CES in LasVegas.
You will meet Ash, Avicii's manager and partner and Ericsson President andCEOHans Vestberg.
Besides discovering and producing the music industry's hottest new acts,Ash hasbeen behind the scenes producing a few of of his own tracks, which Aviciihasbeen playing in his live sets. He will be available for one-on-oneinterviewsafter the briefing.
Ericsson's expertise in global connectivity will help power this project,whichbegins with Avicii asking fans and producer from all corner of the world tocreate and submit sound files over the internet. The project addresses theimpact of connectivity on creativity and it's an experiment to show how theNetworked Society enables innovation and business transformation.
