Japanese carmaker Toyota said on Wednesday it would recall more than one million cars in the United States for safety checks.
Toyota USA said in a statement it would "conduct two separate
safety recalls involving approximately 752,000 Corolla and Corolla
Matrix vehicles and approximately 270,000 Lexus IS vehicles."
The recalls involve checks on the air bag controls of 2003-2004
Corolla and Corolla Matrix vehicles and the wiper arms of 2006-2012
Lexus IS cars.
