Irish Poker Open Registration Fee Lowered For Online Registrants

DUBLIN, IRELAND -- (Marketwire) -- 01/30/13 -- Editors Note: There is a photo associated with this press release. today announced that it is giving all players who register for the upcoming Irish Open 2013 online a discount of EUR50.

Players who register via the Paddy Power Poker Holding Tank in the poker client will be able to buy in for EUR2,200 as opposed to the full buy in amount which is EUR2,250. The holding tank is now available in the client and will be there until 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, the evening before the Irish Open 2013 main event.

Additionally online players can now use their Paddy Points in the online VIP shop to buy in to any Irish Open event.

The 10 events, being held in the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, Ireland from March 29 to April 1, have cash buy ins from EUR170 to EUR2,250 and can now be bought online at Paddy Power Poker for between 19,000 and 170,000.

The main weekly satellite takes place each Sunday at 8 p.m. with four Irish Open packages worth EUR3,200 guaranteed in the EUR160 + EUR16 no-limit hold'em freezeout. The guaranteed packages include EUR395 for five nights accommodation at the Burlington Hotel as well as EUR525 for flights and spending.

Monday at 8 p.m. players can opt for the EUR30 + EUR3 no-limit hold'em rebuy/add with one Irish Open seat guaranteed.

While Thursday at 8 p.m. sees a EUR100 + EUR9 no-limit hold'em freezeout with one Irish Open seat guaranteed.

Anyone who qualifies for the Irish Open main event at can take part in the Sole Survivor last longest with the last qualifier standing walking away with EUR50,000 in cash, a World Series of Poker 2013 main event buy in and Irish Open 2014 buy in.
