DENVER, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/16/13 -- Barfresh Food Group, Inc. (OTCBB: BRFH) ("Barfresh Food Group" "Barfresh" or the "Company"), a manufacturer and distributor of unique ready to blend beverages, today announced that Craig J. Bennett, an industry veteran, has been named Director of Manufacturing and Product Development for the Company. This is a newly created position in response to Barfresh's growth.
Riccardo Delle Coste, Barfresh CEO, said, "Craig has more than 30 years of diverse product development experience that includes retail, food service, and flavor/ingredient applications. He has worked for major companies such as Kraft/General Foods, Unilever, and ICI and last held the position of Global Director of Quality and Product Development at Mrs. Fields Famous Brands where he was responsible for all of the company's iconic brands, such as TCBY, Yovana and Mrs. Fields Cookies. Many of our customers require specialized and proprietary flavors to afford each its own competitive edge. Craig has already been instrumental in our efforts in this area, as he was responsible for the development of the recently-approved smoothie flavors being tested at a major casino operation. We welcome him as we prepare for significant growth in 2013."
