RICHMOND, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/15/13 -- A leading provider of homes for military families, Lincoln Military Housing welcomes Philip Rizzo as the new Vice President of Operations. Rizzo will be responsible for the overall management of Lincoln Military Housing and oversee the daily operations of the company. Philip joined LMH after previously managing the operations for a residential portfolio of $2.8 billion in California and Hawaii. As a former soldier and the son of a military officer, Rizzo is committed to serving the men, women and families that Lincoln Military Housing is privileged enough to call its residents.
As the son of an Air Force Officer, Philip elected to join the Army after high school where he became a Section Chief in a Field Artillery Battery in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. After leaving the service with an Honorable Discharge, he completed his Bachelor's degree in Economics and began his professional career as a manager at Nissan North America's headquarters in Los Angeles. In 2004, he joined the Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO), an apartment REIT, where he served in operations as the Director for 9,700 apartments in Southern California and Hawaii. Philip also worked for the Chairman as the Vice President of Sales before joining Lincoln Military Housing. In addition, he has a Masters in Business Administration from UCLA and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker. Lincoln Military Housing is thrilled to welcome Philip Rizzo on board as the new Vice President of Operations.
