Sept. 08--The full lineup has been announced for this year's Hardly Strictly Bluegrass -- and it's a doozy.

The bill features dozens of talented acts, including such popular attractions as indie-country sensations the Civil Wars, Irish music legends the Chieftains, punk-poet extraordinaire Patti Smith, versatile vocalist Elvis Costello and indie-folk stars the Head and the Heart.

Other notable acts include the Cowboy Junkies, Dwight Yoakam, Emmylou Harris, Boz Scaggs and Ralph Stanley. The complete lineup is listed below.
The free festival, which in many ways ranks as one of the biggest music events in the United States, takes place Oct. 5-7 at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Performance times and dates for the individual acts have yet to be announced.
