NEW YORK, Sept. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- Beast, one of the nation's top editorial houses and a subsidiary of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc., the leading provider of a broad range of entertainment industry services and technologies to the worldwide entertainment industry, continues to expand its Latin division with the addition of Editor Bernardo Revilla to its New York office. Beast Latin now has a formidable roster of editors dedicated to the Hispanic market with other Latin division editors based in Los Angeles and Austin.
Bernardo brings over twelve years of experience at top-notch facilities in both the general and Hispanic market, having worked with such clients as: CP+B Group, Grey, Saatchi & Saatchi, mcgarrybowen, McCann Erickson, GlobalHue, Wing, Global Works and CreativeOndemanD.
"We continue to grow in response to the increasing demand among our clients for Hispanic and Latin American cultural understanding, particularly in the New York market," said Luis Ribeiro vice president of Beast's Latin division. "It is essential to have a diverse group of people with different experiences who can respond to every individual client."
Bernardo's beginnings encapsulate the American dream. He was born in Madrid, Spain and traveled to the US with only a backpack on his back, but his plan to stay for only three short months crumbled when he fell in love with New York City. Bernardo began his cutting career in the general market as an assistant editor under the wing of Avi Oron and eventually climbed the ranks to editor. Aside from the standard 30-second spot, he enjoys cutting shorts, web content, music videos, fashion films, and long form films. "The art of storytelling is thrilling to me, every cut is an opportunity to make messages more beautiful and more powerful."
Bernardo is delighted to be joining Beast Latin and the ranks of Luis' league of editors. "I have followed Berni's career for some time and can say with confidence that his upbeat sensibility is reflected in every project he works on," says Luis. "He has an eye for beauty, comedy and storytelling that is unique to his Spanish background and New Yorker lifestyle."
