Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney made several demands during his Wednesday appearance at the University of Miami forum sponsored by Spanish-language network Univision , according to the website BuzzFeed.

Univision anchor Maria Elena Salinas told Buzzfeed that tickets for the "Meet the Candidate" forums were divided between the network, the respective campaigns and the UM.

"But after exhausting the few conservative groups on campus, the Romney camp realized there weren't enough sympathetic students to fill the stands on their night -- so they told the network and university that if they weren't given an exemption to the students-only rule, they might have to "reschedule," the website said.

Romney's campaign then bused in activists to fill the seats.

Salinas also said Romney demanded that Univision re-shoot his introduction. Romney's camp took exception because Salina's fellow anchor, Jorge Ramos, pointed out that Romney would be available for only 35 minutes opposed to the president's hour.

Romney, Salinas said, refused to come onstage until the network agreed to leave that detail out of the introduction.
