The House of Marley, a collection of premium quality, earth-friendly personal audio and lifestyle gear created with the family of Bob Marley, is headed to Virginia Beach, Virginia, as sponsor of the main music stage at the 50th Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championship (CE-ECSC), North America's oldest surf contest.
The House of Marley main stage will be located at 5th Street and Oceanfront, and will run from Friday, Aug. 24 through Sunday, Aug. 26, hosting acts such as Breathe Carolina, Donavon Frankenreiter and more. The House of Marley will introduce Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championship attendees and athletes to its new "Lively Up" bag collection, while also showcasing its premium headphones and portable audio systems, including the Bag of Rhythm portable speaker system, from The House of Marley tour van -- a converted 1958 VW Van -- which will be parked near The House of Marley Main Stage on 4th Street offering special giveaways and prizes.

As the oldest surf contest in North America and the second longest continuously run surf contest in the world, the CE-ECSC is one of the largest surf events held in the world with more than 80 participants across more than 35 divisions in 2011. The event is open to the public and is free of charge. Portions of the proceeds raised at ECSC benefit the Jaycees many charitable projects. Performers, times and dates are subject to change, weather permitting.
