Founded in 1949, the Alameda Theater was known as a safe haven for Latino artistic and cultural expression. It was the largest Spanish-language theater ever built in America with 2,480 seats.
The mission of the Alameda Theater is to be a multi-media, live performing arts and film center featuring the American Latino story.
