Hispanic Heritage Celebration to Be Held in Northeast Portland

The Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber will hosts its annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration and Bravo! Awards at the Oregon Convention Center.

The event honors the contributions of Latinos. The Bravo awards recognize individual contributions to the social and economic advancement of Latinos in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

This year, Marco Hernandez, Gil Carreon, Tina Castanares, Roman D. Hernandez, Multnomah County and Providence Health & Services will be honored with awards.

The event will be held Thursday, September 6, 2011 from 6 to 9 p.m.
