Snoop Dogg in Concert at Rome Hippodrome

World-famous rapper Snoop Dogg was due to play Tuesday in Rome at the city's hippodrome, performing items from his latest album, "Doggumentary."

"Doggumentary" is Snoop Dogg's 11th album and among the international music stars who also feature in it are David Guetta, Lex Luger, Kanye West, Scoop DeVille and Wiz Khalifa.

Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, was last week detained in Norway on his way to perform in at the Hove festival last night in the southern town of Kristiansand.

The 40-year-old rapper was fined 52,000 Norwegian kroner for entering the country with eight grammes of marijuana, which sniffer dogs detected in his luggage.

He has previously claimed he wants ask US President Barack Obama to legalise marijuana.
