Pop culture MC Adam Warrock has put his hip hop spin on HBO's popular fantasy series Game of Thrones. The artist, who has previously put his unique spin on tunes related to comic books, shows such as Parks & Rec, Parks & RecFirefly, and movies including Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, today unveiled "When The Winter Comes."

The title is a play on the motto of House Stark, one of the main families in Game of Thrones, whose refrain of "winter is coming" portends the grim circumstances portrayed in the show. The 4:25-long track invokes many of the other touchstones of the HBO series, which is based on the original book series by George R.R. Martin, "A Song of Ice & Fire."
