The long locks are no April Fool's prank, says StyleBistro. A day after she appeared at the 2012 Kids' Choice Awards (a pair of blimps, thank you very much), Selena let the world know about her new hair extensions via Twitter:

"Spring breakers is done now hairs done for the next movie! :)"

Selena Gomez also tweeted a photo of herself with her dog, Chipper.

"Me and chippers laying outside. He looks scared lol," she quipped.
