Tracy Morgan's mom can't make her house payments and her son won't help her.
In a kerfuffle that sounds like an episode of "30 Rock," the hit show he stars in, Alicia Morgan told CNN that she asked her wealthy son for $25,000 to pay off her mortgage. Morgan offered her a one-time sum of $2,000 -- and he didn't call her himself, but sent the message through an assistant.
"I was so upset, I told her to tell Tracy, 'Thank you, but no thanks," said Morgan's mom, who is facing foreclosure. "I am not some person on the street asking you for a handout, I am your mother."
Tracy Morgan's sister Asia Morgan ratted him out to the New York Daily News last week, saying that the overdue payments "would be a drop in the bucket for Tracy."
Tracy Morgan wasn't biting.
"I am saddened that these untrue stories about me have people questioning my commitment to my family," Tracy Morgan said in a statement. "For reasons that are between us, I have not seen my mother in 11 years and, outside of a random call here and there, have had little to no contact with my sister."
