NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 12/17/12 -- Digital First Media, which operates MediaNews Group, Journal Register Company and Digital First Ventures, today named Jared Bean Vice President of Multimedia Sales for MediaOnePA.

Mr. Bean, who was born and raised in York, most recently served as Vice President of Digital Sales for MediaOnePA -- a position he has held since January 2011. He previously served as Ad Director for MediaOnePa, working his way up the Company's sales ranks. Mr. Bean began his career as a Sales Assistant in 1997 and was promoted to both Retail Sales and Classified Sales positions before being named Retail Advertising Manager from 2004 to 2008.
In 2008 Mr. Bean was named Regional Targeted Publications Director where he was responsible for launching new publications and audience-focused initiatives across the York market. Mr. Bean was named Director of Interactive, leading both digital sales and digital products before he oversaw the sales team's transition from the York Newspaper Company brand to MediaOnePA brand.
