ANDOVER, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/17/12 -- Casa Systems, a worldwide leader in next generation cable edge technology, today announced that the company's C10G Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) has been selected by Citycable, the cable operator of Lausanne, Switzerland, to support its rapid growth in high quality advanced video, voice, and high speed data services to its residential and business customers.
Citycable, located in Lausanne, home to the International Olympic Committee, currently offers triple play services to over 70,000 business and residential subscribers.
The company has been doubling its bandwidth every 15 months in order to meet the ever-increasing demands from its customers. This explosive demand in conjunction with Citycable's desire to launch new, multimedia CCAP based services lead them to evaluate alternative platforms.

"After an extensive evaluation it was clear that Casa System's C10G was the only platform to meet those requirements and provide a solid return on our investment."
Their Swiss partner, Broadband Networks, assisted Casa Systems in the sale.
"Citycable is one of the more progressive, customer focused operators in the region," said Jerry Guo, Founder and CEO of Casa Systems. "We are thrilled to have been selected by them and are looking forward, with the help of our partner Broadband Networks, to helping Citycable meet is growth objectives and to facilitate the rollout of next generation CCAP services."
