JACKSONVILLE, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 11/01/12 -- Quasar Aerospace Industries, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: QASP)

Quasar Aerospace Industries, Inc. (Quasar) is proud to announce the delivery of a brand new 2012 Cessna 162 Skycatcher aircraft (http://www.cessna.com/single-engine/skycatcher.html). This state-of-the-art aircraft will allow Quasar, through its two wholly owned subsidiaries, Atlantic Aviation, Inc. and A-Cent Aviation, Inc., to generate substantial revenues in the fast growing arena of Sport Pilot training.

Aviation experts have called Sport Pilot training "The Answer That Flying Has Been Waiting For!"

How does Light Sport achieve this?

Sport Pilot training gets the student a license to fly faster -- weeks instead of months.

Sport Pilot training is less expensive -- pilots can become licensed to fly aircraft at half the cost of a Private Pilots license.

Sport Pilot training does not require a medical certificate -- pilots who have lost or can't get a medical for minor medical problems can now participate as long as they have a valid driver's license, proving they are healthy enough to fly.

Sport Pilot training is a good way to sample flying -- a sport pilot certificate is a great way to test the waters.

So, accessibility and affordability have made the Sport Pilot Category a particularly attractive option for two segments of aircraft enthusiasts:

1. People who are new to general aviation, who now have the easiest pathway to becoming pilots, both in terms of training time and cost; and

2. Seasoned pilots who, due to (often age-related) health issues, have expired medical certificates, but a far-from-expired desire and ability to continue flying.

This is not to say that Sport Pilot training is a choice only for these two groups -- far from it.

Many fully certified pilots gravitate toward Sport Pilot training for what is perhaps its greatest asset: It's easy and fun to fly. Many practiced pilots long to return to the cockpit of an airplane that provides the most direct, emotive, visceral joy of really flying.

Many student pilots use a Sport Pilot license as an intermediate step in preparation for the Private Pilot license. The Sport Pilot certificate is a real, honest-to-goodness, FAA pilot certificate, therefore, all flight training and flight hours accumulated by Sport Pilots count toward meeting applicable requirements for more advanced pilot certificates and ratings.

"This aircraft is the new age of flight training and will open aviation as a recreational activity and a vocation to thousands of potential students previously excluded," says Chief Operating Officer Bill Cirmo. "We now have the only Sport Pilot Training program with the sought after Cessna 162 Skycatcher in the North Florida and South Georgia area. We anticipate this new aircraft will generate additional revenues of approximately $210,000 in its first year of operation."
