LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/26/12 -- Rapid Fire Marketing (PINKSHEETS: RFMK) ("the Company") a developer, producer and of vapor inhaler products, announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Medical Cannabis Management (MCM), is proud to announce that it has appointed attorney, Michael Levinsohn, to serve on the Advisory Board of the Company effective immediately.
Levinsohn will advise MCM on the overall business strategy, licensing, branding, compliance and expansion efforts related to the various medical marijuana and hemp-related portfolio companies associated with Rapid Fire Marketing and MCM.
Michael Levinsohn is a Los Angeles-based civil rights and criminal defense attorney, specializing in medical marijuana, who has successfully litigated several high profile cases throughout California. Levinsohn earned his law degree from University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, J.D., 1989 and has been licensed in California since 1990.
Levinsohn worked as a public defender his first two years in San Diego, trying approximately 30 jury and bench trials, and subsequently became a criminal defense attorney in private practice. To date he has tried over sixty jury trials with a success rate well over fifty percent.
Levinsohn recently made national news on the Daisy Bram case by representing her pro bono. In an historic move with Levinsohn's help, Daisy fought a child dependency case in the Butte County California Juvenile Court, and won back her children in record time. Bram was allowed to continue using medical cannabis, and her case is completely closed with the Child Protective Service. Bram is now suing CPS for taking her children wrongfully.
Levinsohn said, "I learned about Cheryl's company, as well as the reality series she is producing evolving around the industry, and reached out to her. Cheryl is a visionary on the cutting edge of building a super brand in the cannabis industry. Credibility is the key. Cheryl has earned her place as an activist and business leader in this rapidly growing community. It is an honor and a privilege to be part of the advisory board. I can't wait to be a part of the vision."
"My passion in building RFMK and MCM is obvious to most observers. The key to success is striving to identify those exceptional individuals that will help forge the path that will take us into the new era of expansion with medical cannabis and hemp-related businesses and products," said Cheryl Shuman, spokesperson for the company.
Shuman continued, "We are very excited to name Michael Levinsohn to our Advisory Board and look forward to the leadership that he will bring to the Company. His legal expertise, business contacts in the cannabis industry and insight will be invaluable as we continue to grow our footprint throughout the US and around the world."
