SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/02/12 -- LanierBB.com, the digital version of the beloved Lanier Travel Guide, has become Bescover.com -- a transition the company has been working on for more than a year, as it creates easier ways for bed and breakfast operators to do business and reap the benefits of modern marketing. The new Bescover by the Lanier family will be introducing digital marketing and lead-generation services with one simple front-end page for each inn to control, and all the back-end support, intel, and services handled by Bescover for marketing B&B's online and in social media. The company has relocated to new offices in San Francisco to accommodate growth and can be reached at 415.398.5033 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Chief Executive Thomas Brown has joined Marie Lanier, Vice President, in leading the company's new path to revive the strength of one of the most rewarding industries, hospitality. Brown, a leader in the online travel field, joins Bescover (a play on Rediscover B&Bs) from Uptake Networks, having served as the company's VP of Business Development and the team responsible for the company's successful sale to Groupon, "We're in the fortunate position of having both the technical expertise and the understanding and relationships with innkeepers nationwide to embark on a smart path to much greater industry prosperity," said Brown, reaffirming that Bescover will bring the industry to its healthiest time in history, one innkeeper at a time.
Marie Lanier has spent more than two decades in the B&B industry, holding several different roles at Lanier Publishing and now serves in the role of Vice President with the mission to continue championing the needs of innkeepers. The company intends to make up for time it spent developing a new digital infrastructure to help operators meet their financial and personal goals.
In addition to new products that will be rolled out throughout Q4 of 2012, Bescover maintains a web site that lists more than 8,500 bed and breakfast properties in more than 30 countries. The company has been growing its team of travel, technology and marketing experts to prepare for the new platform, while maintaining the integrity, honesty and values of a family business that are the foundation of the hospitality industry. The Bescover product development team is dedicated to easing the marketing burdens on innkeepers and allowing them to enjoy their work.
"With Bescover, we are taking a step forward to better serve our B&B partners," Marie Lanier said. "We owe it to our members to advance our technological expertise and service as well as our subscribers' businesses, based on a legacy of commitment that has been personal for my family for over 30 years. We eat, breathe and sleep B&B."
"We will make sense of channel overload and help innkeepers keep up without adding complexity to their jobs," Marie Lanier said. "No one is more committed and better poised to serve innkeepers. We now have the platform to serve the needs of innkeepers as fast as the technology itself changes."
