TREVOSE, Pa., Oct. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, Verizon Wireless is launching the Dia de tus Suenos or Day of Your Dreams sweepstakes to celebrate the history, contributions and culture of Hispanics across the nation. The call for entries is underway and Latinos age 18 and older may register online at www.verizoninsider.com/dreamday or in their local Verizon Wireless retail store.
Now through October 15, Latinos may register once a day to win the Day of Your Dreams experience which includes spending five hours with a nationally-recognized Hispanic celebrity or influencer such as television stars Adrienne Bailon and Julissa Bermudez, seen on Style Network's "Empire Girls", or world-renowned Chef Jose Garces, seen on Food Network's "Iron Chef". Winners will also receive $1,000 and a Verizon Wireless 4G LTE tablet to create a video diary documenting their Day of Your Dreams experience. "Hispanic heritage plays a very significant role in our communities and it's important that we continue to promote the influence and success of Latinos across the country," said Mario Turco, president of Verizon Wireless' Philadelphia Tri-State Region. "We also need to encourage and support the bold aspirations of young Latinos as they determine what their influence will be."
