Cindy Ramos-Davidson, CEO of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, has been elected chairman of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' El Paso branch, and El Paso businessman Renard Johnson has been appointed to the board, the bank announced this week.
Johnson, president and CEO of Management and Engineering Technologies, or METI, an El Paso government technology contractor, will serve a three-year term.
Robert McKnight Jr., a ranch operator from Fort Davis, was elected chairman pro tem.
Ramos-Davidson has been on the board since 2008, and McKnight since 2009.
The El Paso Branch board has seven members who give input to the Federal Reserve on regional economic conditions.
