Monica Rego Promoted to VP at NBC 4 New York

Monica Rego

Monica Rego has been promoted to vice president of human resources for NBC 4 New York, according to a news release from the station.

Previously, she worked in Miami as the director of organizational development and strategy for Telemundo network, stations and international, where she had been since 2005.

Rego has worked with and supported news, sports, digital media, programming, research, marketing, Arizona TV stations and Telemundo International. She was actively involved in supporting Project Fusion, NBCUniversal's international transition into Brazil and Mexico.

Before joining NBC, Rego held human resources leadership roles with various companies including Levi Strauss, British Airways and Panalpina, with strong experience in the U.S., Latin America, Europe and the Caribbean markets.

She graduated from George Washington University with a degree. She has completed her executive coaching training at the College of Executive Coaching in Santa Barbara, Calif.
