The First Lady Michelle Obama has invited a variety of guests to the State of the Union this evening.
Silicon Valley definitely will be represented through Mike Krieger, co-founder of iPhotography app Instagram and Laurene Powell Jobs, widow of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.
Warren Buffett's longtime secretary Debbie Bosanek also will sit alongside Obama tonight as President Barack Obama delivers the anticipated speech.
Bosanek, Buffett's assistant at Berkshire Hathaway, has been held up by the billionaire businessman as an example of unfair tax policies that the billionaire investor says have his secretary paying taxes at a higher percentage rate than he does.
Other notable people who will sit with the First Lady and Vice President Joe Biden's wife Jill Biden this evening include San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro; Mark Kelly, astronaut and husband of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords; Adam Rapp, who underwent cancer treatment after benefiting from health care reforms; and Colonel Ginger Wallace, an Air Force intelligence officer who benefited from the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."
