Afterward, ESPN commentator Skip Bayless tweeted: "How could Patriots be inspired by that awful [a]nthem sung by Steven Tyler? At least give him some screaming guitars to camouflage voice," as reported by CNN.
Fox Sports said that "It kind of sounded like someone was strangling a cat."
Well, yeah. That's what Steven Tyler sounds like.
