Cain Velasquez is confirmed to fight on Nov. 12 in California during a Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) match against Junior dos Santos.
Tickets for the UFC fight at the Honda Center in Anaheim go on sale next Friday, Sept 16.
The Velasquez vs. dos Santos match will be the centerpiece of UFC's first show on the Fox network. The championship bout will be the only live fight of the one-hour broadcast, reports USAToday.com.
"This is like us getting Ali-Foreman," said David Hill, chairman of Fox Sports, according to USA Today.
Velasquez has not fought since October 2010.
UFC fans have taken to Twitter to talk about the match, calling it a "historic" bout.
Velasquez is an undefeated Mexican American, mixed martial artist and the current UFC heavyweight champion.
