When HispanicBusiness.com interviewed Mario Lopez a few years ago, he hinted that a book for kids was on the horizon. The new book by Lopez, Mario and Baby Gia, is at last a reality, arriving in stores September 27.
Mario Lopez, the actor and television host best known for Saved by the Bell and Extra, has recently shown his range with appearances on Broadway, on Dancing With the Stars, and with authoring books focused on fitness. Mario and Baby Gia is his first stint at children's fiction and concerns the protagonist, also called Mario, having difficulty finding someone to play with, then being drafted into babysitting his cousin Gia.
