A Pennsylvania judge ruled Kate Gosselin, reality TV star formerly on "Jon and Kate Plus 8", must pay a marriage counselor a little over $10,000.
In a lawsuit, Sylvia Lafair argued she flew to Los Angeles at the request of Jon and Kate Gosselin in order to provide counseling in March 2009.
According to the Associated Press, Lafair sued last year for the cost of travel and the cost of her counseling services.
Gosselin testified she did not have a contract set-up with Lafair; Magisterial District Judge Gerald Feissner ruled that a lack of contract did not matter -- Kate Gosselin was ordered to pay Lafair a total of $10,300.
Gosselin's attorney said he has already filed an appeal in the case.
Jon and Kate Gosselin divorced in 2009.
