Fantasia Barrino's publicist says the singer gave birth to a son Tuesday in North Carolina. The "American Idol" Season 3 winner also is mother to a 10-year-old daughter named Zion.
"I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family," Barrino told People.com. "I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support."
Barrino has not publicly identified the baby's father.
People.com reported in 2010 Barrino was seeing Antwaun Cook, a father of two sons, who at one point managed a Charlotte, N.C., cellphone store and worked in real estate.
