Bieber knocks off a Kardashian. Justin Bieber was the most-searched person on the Internet in 2011, according to the search engine Bing. Kim Kardashian held that title last year. Not even her made-for-Hollywood wedding over the summer, and the subsequent 72-day marriage, helped her hold onto that title.
Paternity suit apparently trumps celebrity divorce.
Justin, who ranked No. 6 last year, is the only guy in the Top 10, which includes: Kim Kardashian (No. 2), Jennifer Aniston, Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Megan Fox, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus.
Selena Gomez, Justin's girlfriend, rode his coattails up the list from No. 50 last year to No. 11 this year. Sandra Bullock, Jesse James, Michael Jackson, Tiger Woods, Barack Obama and Kate Gosselin all fell out of the Top 10.
Kardashian alert No. 2
Kim filed for divorce from new hubby Kris Humphries, but sources say the NBA player plans to seek a legal separation instead. A separation would mean the two could have the marriage annulled.
Air ball.
Kim recently told Glamour magazine that in the future, she plans to be less idealistic about this thing called love.
"I think I need to not live in a fairytale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic," she said.
Not ... holding ... our ... breath.
Kardashian alert No. 3
Kim's sister, Kourtney Kardashian, announced this week, on the cover of Us Weekly no less, that she is pregnant with child No. 2 by boyfriend Scott Disick. They are the parents of 2-year-old son Mason, one of the most adorable toddlers on the face of the planet.
Kourtney, who just launched a mommy blog, told the mag she took a pregnancy test about five weeks ago. "Now I'm nine weeks along. You're supposed to wait 12 weeks to tell people, but I feel confident," she said.
Bleepin' up with the Kardashians
One more reason we adore Daniel Craig, known for keeping his private life, well, private.
In the January issue of British GQ -- he adorns the cover -- Daniel talks about why he's never led a Kardashian kind of celebrity life.
"I think there's a lot to be said for keeping your own counsel," he says. "You can't buy it back. You can't buy your privacy back. 'Ooh, I want to be alone. (Bleep) you. We've been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta, and now you want some privacy?'"
(Pretty sure he was talking about Kourtney giving birth on E!)
"It's a career. What can I tell you? It is a career; I'm not being cynical. And why wouldn't you? Look at the Kardashians, they're worth millions. Millions! I don't think they were that badly off to begin with, but now look at them," he said. "You see that, and you think, 'What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a (bleeping) idiot on television and then you'll pay me millions?'"
Lady Gaga: Forever single?
Lady Gaga pours her heart out in the January issue of Vanity Fair (she's on the cover) and sounds like she's resigned to spending the rest of her life as a single lady. (Though she's said to be dating "The Vampire Diaries" star Taylor Kinney.)
"I have an inability to know what happiness feels like with a man," the 25-year-old Lady Gaga confesses. "I think what it really is, is that I date creative people. And I think ... what intimidates them is not my purse, it's my mind.
"It starts out good. Then when I'm in these relationships with people who are also creative, or creative in their own way, what happens is the attraction is initially there, and it's all unicorns and rainbows. And then they hate me.
"It's a hideous place to be in when someone that you love has convinced you that you will never be good enough for anyone."
Ricky Martin gives us 'Glee'
There's a hot new teacher heading for McKinley High -- Ricky Martin.
He's apparently signed up for a guest role on "Glee" as a Spanish teacher who shakes his bon bon in a couple of musical numbers. The episode is expected to air in late January.
One insider is calling Ricky "the hottest Spanish teacher ever in the history of Ohio."
So ... holding ... our ... breath.
Today's Stargazing was brought to you by the letter "K" for Kardashian, and Lisa Gutierrez, who doesn't shake her bon bon for just
