If you've ever used your Facebook to comment on a story at a third-party website, your comments are now searchable on Google. Comments posted in the confines of Facebook, however, will remain there.
The change is a result of new technology that allows Google's web spider GoogleBot (which searches the Web for content), to read content loaded in the programming scripts AJAX and JavaScript.
Content from other commenting systems such as Disqus is now also being indexed in Google.
