The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is hosting its annual conference, "25 Years of Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success," Oct. 29-31 in San Antonio, Texas.
More than 50 topics will be presented on the following topics: grants and funding opportunities, partnerships that work, advocacy and legislation, international partnerships and executive leadership for successful institutional strengthening.
HACU also will present a town hall on Monday, Oct. 31, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. that will address the future of higher education -- "Re-Engineering Higher Education." The town hall is free and open to the public.
This weekend also will feature a college and career fair on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 2 to 5 p.m. The public can expect 100 exhibitors that represent federal agencies, major corporation and colleges and universities from across the nation.
An estimated 1,500 participants from colleges, universities nationwide and internationally are expected to attend.
