Cheryl Burke reveals in her book "Dancing Lessons" that she was molested when she was age 5, The Daily News reports.

Burke, the two-time "Dancing With the Stars" champion, also discusses being physically abused by two former boyfriends.

"I'm telling my story, Burke told People."They're not secrets. There's no shame."

The book, co-authored by People Senior Writer Monica Rizzo, reveals Burke's adviser was a former mailman who sometimes picked Burk up from school and did odd jobs around the house.

The man was later accused of assaulting other children, The Daily News reports, and that led Burke to testify against him in court.

Burke told People: "I saw his face and lawyers were asking me these questions and I was like, 'What am I doing? Did he even do anything wrong?'"

She said she was sharing her story to aid other molestation victims.

"If I can help just one person," she told People, "for me that's all that matters.

"Dancing Lessons" goes on sale Feb. 14, according to The Daily News.
