this is how limbaugh twists every issue that he believes will turn defiant ears to whom he directs his rants and raves, namely "conservatives", rush limbaugh IS GOING TO SELF-DISTRUCT one day....i pray that he does not have children to pass this on to...how many wives? five? that says a lot.....
in this particular spin, he is basically saying that anyone who is pro-democrat should get out and do the same, i.e., let loughner set an example for you? how can anyone stoop so low as to speak this nonsense.
keith olberman left msnbc for contributions to political candidates, isn't rush limbaugh the spokesperson and donates to political causes for people like PANDORA PALIN...? stand up fox news

Since 1973 it is has been emblazoned into our national cultural psyche that it is ok to kill our own children from conception and now up to nine months, puncturing soft tissue skulls, vacuuming brains, pulling limbs apart to remove them? I think that Rush is back to the juice!. Regardless if this gunman was motivated or not by shows in the nature of Limbaugh's , the fact still remains that he is put on the bennefit of doubt becasue his show is centered on hatred. I used to listened to him back in the 80's when he was still professional, but I can't stand such blind hatred now. He either is playing games with what it seems to be paying offf or he has shown his tru colors.

What we all must remember is that the Republicans are not fiscally conservative. They want all the rich to have tax cuts and they're big corporate, big business supporters...making themselves rich off lobbyist, more so than the Dems' at least. Then when they want the populus on their side, they begin talking about God and Jesus which makes them "seem" consertative. Limbaugh is an ill wind sullying the minds of those who don't think for themselves. On both sides of the isle, there are those who vote their party even if the anti-christ is in charge. Hopefully when Rushie reincarnates he'll come back with a heart. By the way, I'm independent.

Shame on Limbaugh . How can anyone believe a word this ex(?) addict says anymore? Surely he must cater to the lowest common denominator.Years ago he could often be interesting, entertaining, & even insightful & thought-provoking.Then he became addicted to pain-killers & got them illegally. What his supporters fail to realize is that w/ his money he could have afforded pain management therapy & would have gotten pain meds legally - fact he became addicted shows MAJOR weakness in his character & the drugs surely have had a lasting effect.While I applaud those who "recover" from addiction , I would certainly not hang on to their every word, unless they were possibly counseling another addict. He's become a mean-spirited, egotistical old man who cares nothing about the hate he's spewing.

There is no evidence of what the shooter was influenced by. Perhaps it was the heavy metal music he listened to. The bottom line is he was mentally unstable and not a member of any party.

I love how people that claim to know what Rush talks about on his shows think he's preaching hate and that his "followers" are mind-numbed robots that can't think on their own... Finally a place to get the TRUTH and the LEFT hates it, the main stream media hates it, the President hates it, if only they can shut down those spewing truth they can truly run the country. Why is it so bad to hear the other side? To hear the facts?
Over half our population seems to be blind and def, truth means nothing to them. No matter how many threats the LEFT makes against others, it's swept under the door mat.
My family, friends, and neighbors are a lot more important than any politician. I didn't see any nationwide media hype when one of my friends died of cancer recently?
Politicians are just people, nothing special, don't give them such high status, always remember that your family and your friends should be number one.

To add to my previous post, perhaps we should ban automobiles because a crazy lady in Reno drove down the sidewalk on Thanksgiving in the mid-80's and killed a bunch of innocent people. Jarred Loughner could just as easily drove a car into the crowd surrounding Rep Giffords and kiilled many people also. Don't blame his killing spree on guns.
This idea being floated in New York state that guns should be kept 1000 feet from public officials is laughable. NY already has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation and there's still lots of gun crimes b/c criminals don't care about gun laws or any other laws. It's only law-abiding citizens who are disarmed and unable to protect themselves from thugs, because they do obey the laws that prevent them from owning self-defense weapons.

What's wrong with you LIbs? The 2nd Amendment guarantees all Americans the right to own and carry guns of all sorts. Most guns purchased legally are not used in crimes and restrictive gun laws simply mean that criminals won't bother to get a gun legally or carry it legally. Jarred Loughner didn't have a criminal or mental health record because the University and the Pima Co sheriff didn't do their jobs. There are reported to be multiple instances where his bizarre behavior should have prompted his being reported to authorities who should have taken action to evaluate his mental health. Had that been done, the record should have prevented him from owning a weapon. B/c there are a few crazy people doesn't mean the rest of us should give up our constitutional rights to protect ourselves

Mr. Limbaugh is running scared. He is fully aware that his programing has used hatred to make him a celeberity. As a highly paid actor he must cater to his audience, and he has chose to cater to upset Americans who seldom vote but do complain a lot. He seldom offers solutions to real problems- and just entertains those that want him to act as a surrorgate for their anger. Of course most know he struggles with his personal life with all sorts of problems, and it shows. He is using the old but effective system of blaming the victim --in that Democrats cause people to act in a violent behavior. I am sorry--I am not buying into that baloney. Let's be real here: Mr. Loughner did this on his own with no encouragement from any political party function/website/blog/rant/rave.
If both sides of the aisle paid more attention to their constituents wishes, and much less attention to their fellow elected officials " We know what's best for you!" mindset. A lot more work improving things would get done.
I for one do not need or want some government functionary or elected official meddling in my
living life,liberty, an pursuit of happiness. There's no way that he/she can know what's best for

The sad thing is not only does Rush believe what he says, but that there are millons of radio listners who will believe him. They hand on his every word, and don't think first.Why would the liberal party think to use a horrendous crime as a thing to use for gun control. I have yet to figure out why a skill hunter need a gun with that much firepower.The automatic was made to kill people.
As for the argument that only crimnals commit crimes, well this was a legally purchased weopon.Until the politions stop sucking up to the NRA, andother groups there will be more killings, with greater level of killings, America need to wake up!!.
