Vanessa Paradis says she is unsure she will co-star with enigmatic significant other, superstar Johnny Depp, in the upcoming film, 'My American Lover.'
Paradis is raising two childred with Depp, star of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise and leading man in a number of campy films, including 'Edward Scissorhands' and 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.'
Paradis says she has had many opportunities to co-star with Depp in the past, but she is reluctant because of their off-screen relationship.
"I don't know that I could do it," she says. "It's something we don't look for."
Paradis is a French singer, model and actress who became a singing sensation at 14 with her hit single, 'Joe le taxi.'
Films featuring Depp have grossed an estimated $2.6 billion in the U.S., and $5.7 billion worldwide.
The Depp family divides its time between a home in Los Angeles and one in the suburbs of Paris.
