John Cusack will play Edgar Allan Poe in an upcoming drama called, "The Raven," which depicts the last five days of the famed American author's life.
The production will be directed by James McTeigue, who also oversaw filming of "V for Vendetta" and "Ninja Assassin."
"The Raven" is billed as a thriller that follows Poe on a search for a serial killer who has kidnapped the writer's fiance.
