Digital entertainment company Busca Corp., a California-based company that develops community-based Web platforms, has launch a redesigned video and user-generated content website, http://www.metatube.com. The bilingual site combines a video integration system with a redesigned navigation panel.
"Users can upload videos straight from the Website homepage and we added a category in which they can select to watch videos in high-definition," says Ramon Toledo, CEO of Busca Corp. "We also redesigned the navigation panel, restructured the video integration and the video uploading system-all of which will contribute to higher traffic figures."
MetaTube currently offers a library of some 24,000 videos and 7,000 photos.
The company claims the popular Web site provides a marketing opportunity for companies to gain direct exposure to online consumers in Latin America, Mexico, and with U.S. Hispanics.
Busca plans to drive more traffic to the site in the future by broadening its offerings with blog hosting, micro-website and channel building applications, which will be available in both Spanish and English.
