If it's true that practice makes perfect, then Lindsay Lohan should have no trouble keeping her career humming despite having to wear an alcohol monitoring device known as a SCRAM bracelet. After all, she's done it before.
This time around, though, her professional prospects seem a little brighter. Hopefully, that will inspire her to take it easy on herself.
Three years ago to the day, Lohan crashed a 12-cylinder Mercedes-Benz on Sunset Boulevard on while intoxicated. A couple months later, she pleaded guilty to cocaine use in an arrest in Santa Monica.
Following these incidents, she was ordered to wear the SCRAM bracelet, which monitors alcohol intake through measurements of sweat emitted from the pores.
But it apparently did little to alter her behavior, as she was arrested for another DUI in July of that year.
This week, the judge ordered her to replace the bracelet after she missed a court hearing. Meanwhile, Lohan is reportedly in talks to star in a movie produced by Willie Nelson called the "Dry Gulch Kid."
Two years ago, her profession seemed to be on the brink. In 2008, Lohan won not one, but two Razzie awards for worst performance for her dual roles in the movie "I Know Who Killed Me."
