If Crystal Bowersox doesn't win American Idol, the show might want to rethink how it judges its winners.
Crystal Bowersox, the frazzle-haired, deep-thinking, guitar-strumming songstress has pulled so far ahead of the pack on television's No. 1 show, that anything short of victory, at this point, would be more shocking than the year Taylor Hicks mysteriously took home the Idol crown.
Bowersox's moody performance last night of "People Get Ready," highlighted an otherwise average show.
About 1:40 into the song, the likable Bowersox broke into tears on live TV, as she sang the last note.
Not since Carrie Underwood has a contestant emerged has such a huge Idol frontrunner.
Barring anything scandalous (like racy photos that sunk superior Adam Lambert last season) Bowersox, the single mother of a toddler, appears to have this victory in the bag.
See her emotional performance here.

Racy photos? What's so racy about kissing your boyfriend dude? It's not like Lambert was in a porn film.
But I do agree he was superior.

Crystal Bowersox....is GREAT and will do GREAT things.
Yes, she is not real emotional, but she knows what she is doing,
knows how to sing, Great MOM, and will WIN. We need more
young folks like her. A 68 year old Mom and G-Mom.
