Lambert mentored the nine remaining contestants on American Idol, the No. 1 show on television, and proved once again what longtime Idol viewers already know. The show is so much better with him on it.

Now the real news: Lambert is set to perform tonight on American Idol. What will he sing?
His first single, "Whataya Want For Me" or his new single, "If I Had You?"
Maybe he will sing one of the slower songs on the album that spotlight his voice, like "Aftermath" or "Sleepwalker."
Lambert, who is also known for his flamboyant stage shows, promises that Idol will be family viewing when he takes the stage.
"Don't worry America: I will be beyond family friendly. Relax and enjoy. For Your Entertainment," Lambert Tweeted.
