Marion Jones, the disgraced track-and-field star who was stripped of her gold medals for allegedly doping, has joined the WNBA.

Marion Jones, who served jail time for originally lying to prosecutors about her steroid use, will join the Tulsa Shock.

Marion Jones is the latest athlete to attempt a sports crossover. NFL superstar Herschel Walker and WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar recently jumped to mixed martial arts. Boxer Roy Jones Jr., attempted basketball and in the 1990s Deion Sanders famously played professional football and baseball during the same season.
