My heart goes out to the family, friends and coworkers of Phil Harris. The world was a better place because of his presence. We have watched breathlessly as he and his crew race to finish each season safely, yet with the best catch. My husband was a member of the Air Force stationed on Unalaska Island in the late 1960's, so I feel an attachment although I've never set foot on the Aleutians. We know even as we watch each adventure that there is a high probability that someone won't make it home, and even as we watch from the edge of our seats we pray that all members of each crew will make it back. God bless you all as you risk your lives to put food on our tables. You're heroes in my eyes.
